The UCRA crate late models return to Tazewell Speedway for the first time this season for the 1st annual Melvin Corum Memorial on Sunday, May 26. The race will pay $3,001 to the winner. Some of the area’s top crate late model drivers are expected for this event.

Also racing on May 26 will be the sportsman late models for $800 to win, modified streets for $600 to win, and classic cars and four cylinders for $500 to win each.

During the intermission, there will be a fireworks display.

Pit gates open at 4:00 and grandstand gates open at 5:00. The driver’s meeting is scheduled for 6:30 and hot laps will begin at 7:00.

Tickets are $15 for adults, kids 9 and under are free. Pit passes are $30 for adults, kids 12 and under are $15.

Tazewell Speedway is located just two miles northwest of Tazewell, Tennessee. Going north on US 25-E, turn right and then left onto Bacchus Rd, and then 1.8 miles north, then .8 miles west and the race track is located on the left.
