Tazewell Speedway Makes Additions to 2015 Racing Schedule

Officials with Tazewell Speedway located in Tazewell, Tenn. are making some additions to the 2015 racing season which is set to begin in less than two months.

The KDRA Super Stock Series has been added to the 50th Anniversary schedule and will make a stop at Tazewell Speedway on Saturday Night June 6th paying $1,000-to-win. The KDRA-sanction for the Super Stock division and rules package begins on June 6th and the Kentucky-based touring group will make a stop for a $1,000-to-win / $100-to-start event to kick-off their new rules package which will run weekly from June 6th on.
 
The Open Wheel Modifieds will join the schedule for two special events. The first race for the Modifieds will be on Saturday Night June 20th paying $1,500-to-win and the second appearance from the Mods will be on Sunday Night September 6th during the Buddy Rogers Memorial-Iron Man Speed Week finale event. The Super Late Models will race for $6,000-to-win on September 6th while the Modified portion of the Iron-Man Speed Week will pay $1,000-to-win plus racing in other divisions.
 
The 50th season of Tazewell Speedway kicks off on Saturday Afternoon March 14th with an open practice session from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm. The Sixth Annual Charles Trammell Memorial is set for Saturday March 21st and pays $2,050-to-win for the Limited Late Models plus a full racing program for all divisions.
 
Several special events highlight the 50th Anniversary schedule including stops by the World of Outlaws Late Model Series on Saturday Night April 11th, the Old Man’s Garage Spring Nationals Series on Saturday Night May 2nd, the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series on Friday Night May 29th, the 50th Anniversary Race featuring the Schaeffer’s Oil Southern Nationals Series on Saturday Night August 2nd and the Southern Nationals Bonus Series-sanctioning the finale event of the Iron-Man Speed Week on Sunday Night September 6th.
