Tazewell Speedway Owner Gary Hall has announced today the addition of a huge event for Easter Weekend of next season paying $21,000-to-win scheduled as a one-day race on Saturday April 11, 2020.
This mega event will feature the Schaeffer’s Oil Iron-Man Late Model Series presented by DirtonDirt.com facing off against the Schaeffer’s Oil Spring Nationals Series presented by Sunoco Race Fuels racing 75 laps for not only $21,000 to the winner but $1,000 just to start the main event.
2020 will mark the 15th season for the Gary Hall-promoted venue that sits in the heart of East Tennessee and will go down in history as the largest paying one-day event in the track’s storied history. The last major event of this caliber at Tazewell Speedway was back on the Fourth of July weekend of 2011 when Chris Madden claimed the WoO payday worth $20,000.
More details on this mega event will be released in the coming months, but the date is being released so race fans and drivers can circle this event on their calendars as one show they won’t want to miss.
Tazewell Speedway is still working on the remainder of the 2020 schedule. The complete schedule will be released in the weeks ahead.
