Saturday’s Schaeffer’s Southern Nationals finale has been rescheduled for Sunday, July 30. With rain and thunderstorms in the area, the decision was made to reschedule the $10,053 to win race for Sunday. Everything from Saturday night is still the same except the driver’s meeting will be at 6:00 and hot laps will start at 6:30. Jimmy Owens holds a 6-point lead over Carson Ferguson and a 14-point lead over Donald McIntosh before their worst finish has been dropped. The series championship could come down to the final lap.
