Tazewell Speedway will kick off its 50th anniversary season on Saturday, March 21 with the 6th annual Charles Trammell Memorial. The limited late models will be competing for a $2,050 winner’s prize. Also racing will be sportsman, classic cars, four cylinders, and the new super stocks. Pit gates will open at 4:00 and grandstand gates will open at 5:00. The drivers’ meeting is slated for 6:00 with hot laps beginning at 7:00. General admission tickets are $12 for adults with kids 9 and under being free with paying adult. Pit passes are $30 for adults, kids 12 and under are $20 (both parents must sign release form for kids).
