Charles Trammell Memorial begins 2021 season March 20

The 2021 season at Tazewell Speedway begins Saturday, March 20 with the 11th annual Charles Trammell Memorial. The $2,500 to win race is sanctioned by the United Crate Racing Alliance. Some of the area’s top crate late model drivers are expected.

Also racing will be sportsman late models for $800 to win, four cylinders for $300 to win, and classic cars, modified streets, and street stocks all for $500 to win each.

Pit gates open at 4:00 and grandstand gates open at 5:00. The driver’s meeting is scheduled for 6:00. Hot laps and qualifying will begin at 6:30.

Grandstand tickets are $15 for adults, kids 9 and under are free. Pit passes are $30 for adults, kids 12 and under are $20. Minor release forms with parents’ signatures are required for kids 18 and under in the pits. Forms will be located at both goods. A new form must be signed for the 2021 season and will be good through the whole season.
