Tazewell Speedway welcomes the return of the Southern All-Stars Series for the 16th annual Buddy Rogers Memorial as $5,000 awaits the winner.

Dalton Cook leads to the SAS point standings heading into this weekend’s action. David McCoy, Billy Franklin, Ryan Wilson, and Kendall Franklin round out the top five in the series point standings. Drivers such as David Payne, Dakotah Knuckles, Pierce McCarter, Travis Fultz, Austin Neely, Brian Smith, and others are expected for the Buddy Rogers Memorial.

Also racing on Saturday will be sportsman for $800 to win, classic cars for $500 to win, street stocks for $500 to win, and four cylinders for $400 to win.

There will be a fireworks show that will take place during intermission.

General admission tickets are $20 for adults with kids 9 and under admitted free with a paying adult. Pit passes are $35 for adults, kids 12 and under are $25. Pit gates open at 4:00 and grandstand gates open at 5:00.  The driver’s meeting is scheduled for 7:00, racing will start at 7:30.

Tazewell Speedway is located just two miles northwest of Tazewell, Tennessee. Going north on US 25-E, turn right and then left onto Bacchus Rd, and then 1.8 miles north, then .8 miles west and the racetrack is located on the left.
