The Buddy Rogers Memorial is the next race on the Tazewell Speedway schedule for Sunday, September 6. This year’s edition will be co-sanctioned between the Schaeffer’s Fall Nationals and the Schaeffer’s Iron Man Championship Series.
Dakotah Knuckles won the last super late model event at Tazewell Speedway when he scored his biggest career win in the Southern Nationals finale. Knuckles will try to make it two in a row against Donald McIntosh, Vic Hill, Jason Trammell, Michael Chilton, Ryan King, and many others.
Also racing on Saturday will be sportsman for $1,000 to win, classic cars for $500 to win, street stocks for $500 to win, and four cylinders for $400 to win.
During intermission, the 2020 awards ceremony will take place where the top 3 in points in all divisions will receive their checks and trophies.
General admission tickets are $20 for adults with kids 9 and under admitted free with a paying adult. Pit passes are $35 for adults, kids 12 and under are $25. Pit gates open at 3:00 and grandstand gates open at 5:00. The drivers meeting is scheduled for 6:30, racing will start at 7:00.
Fans are welcome to bring in lawn chairs for the turn 4 hillside seating areas. Fans are asked not to use lawn chairs in the grandstand area due to the size of the crowd expected for this event.
There will be no personal ATV vehicles allowed in the pit area which includes 4-wheelers, side-by-sides, and golf carts. No personal vehicles allowed in the pits except for those going to handicap parking.

Going north on US 25-E, turn right and then left onto Bacchus Rd, and then 1.8 miles north, then .8 miles west and the race track is located on the left.
