Tazewell Speedway has released the schedule for the upcoming 2024 season. There are a number of special events and the always exciting weekly racing action.
The first race of the season is Saturday, March 16 with the 3rd annual Jim Arwine Memorial UCRA race. Saturday, March 30 is the 4th annual Lil’ Bill Corum Memorial $21,000 to win for the super late models.
The 5th annual Bill Ogle Memorial will take place on Saturday, May 4. It will be a Topless Outlaws race that will be $3,001 to win. Crate Racin’ USA will make their debut on Saturday, May 18 for a $10,000 to win race. May is closed out with an open wheel modified special with $1,000 going to the winner.
The inaugural Marvin Ford Memorial is set for Monday, July 3. That race is also sanctioned by the UCRA and $3,038 will await the winner. The 20th annual finale of the Schaeffer’s Oil Southern Nationals will be held on Saturday, July 27 where the winner will receive $20,000.
The Topless Outlaws will return on Saturday, August 18 for a $3,000 to win race.
The 16th annual Buddy Rogers Memorial will take place on Sunday, September 1. This year’s edition will be sanctioned by the Southern All-Stars.
