Tazewell Speedway has released the schedule for the 2023 season. The schedule is loaded with weekly racing and special events throughout the season. Some of the special event highlights include the season opening Jim Arnwine Memorial on March 18 for $3,001 to win. The 3rd annual Lil Bill Corum Memorial is scheduled for April 8 and will once again paying $21,000 to the winner of the Schaeffer’s Spring Nationals and Valvoline Iron Man Late Models co-sanctioned event. The Vision Wheel Topless Outlaws return on May 6. The Melvin Corum Memorial set for Sunday, May 28 will now be a Valvoline Iron Man Late Model Series race for $5,000 to win. The finale for the Schaeffer’s Southern Nationals will take place on July 29. The Valvoline Iron Man Late Models return on September 3 for the Buddy Rogers Memorial. The season will cap off with a $10,000 to win Crate Racin’ USA race on October 7. Other annual events such as the Coca-Cola Race Night and Kids’ Nickel Night are also on the 2023 schedule.
